Stephen McPartland, Member of Parliament for Stevenage, was invited to a special presentation afternoon by the staff and cadets of the Stevenage Sea Cadets unit TS Andromeda.

Stephen McPartland MP said, "I was delighted to be invited to such a wonderful event by the Sea Cadets and felt very proud to be given the honour of presenting some awards. The commitment from the young people and adults who volunteer so much of their time was incredible."

The trophies and awards were presented to cadets for their achievements in nautical skills and related activities, and the staff and crew of T. S. Andromeda, together with their friends, family and invited guests, were entertained by the Sea Cadets band.
