This year's fete in aid of St Mary's Shephall held on Shephall Green was very well attended by local residents who raised an amazing £3,600 for the church's fund.

Stephen McPartland, Member of Parliament for Stevenage, who opened the fete, commented, "I was proud to open Shephall Fete in aid of St Mary's Church and to see strength of our community. And I loved chatting and listening to people as I went around all the stalls."
