Stephen McPartland MP recently visited his local Ladbrokes to congratulate Linda Langridge, whose long-service of twenty years, was recognised by Ladbrokes at an annual awards ceremony recently.
Stephen McPartland MP said, "It was a pleasure to meet Linda and see how much the customers appreciate her. I really enjoyed our chat and was delighted to congratulate her on the role she has played in the local community."
Linda enjoyed reminiscing about the various shops she has worked in, in the local area and the camaraderie of the team around her and said, “It was a pleasure to meet my local MP who visited our shop to congratulate me on my long-service with Ladbrokes. Our shop has a real community feel to it and we have a great bunch of colleagues. My twenty years have flown by and I’m glad to say I’m still enjoying my job”.
Ladbrokes CEO, Jim Mullen said, “This is a true reflection of the passion, enthusiasm and commitment of our colleagues and reiterates that our shops and staff are long-standing parts of the communities in which they serve. As an ex shop worker who now has the privilege of leading the company, I am delighted to celebrate the long service of our team.”
