Local MP Stephen McPartland was among those who dropped by Age Concern Stevenage's Christmas Coffee Morning to thank the volunteers and meet some of those using the services.

Stephen McPartland MP said, "The staff and volunteers make a big difference to many local people and I have supported the work they do for a number of years.  I always enjoy chatting to local people and hearing their stories over a cup of tea. It is clear Age Concern do a great job and are really valued in our community."

Age Concern Stevenage is now based on the ground floor of Swingate House and offers a wide range of free and confidential information for older people.  There are regular visits from a range of specialist advisors and outreach advice workers. They also have mobility scooters available for daily hire or purchase.
