Child Safety Week is the Child Accident Prevention Trust (CAPT)’s flagship community education campaign, aiming to raise awareness of the number of accidents and how to prevent them. The theme for this year is ‘Make Time for Safety’, helping parents learn how to fit safety into their busy lives.

Every year, over 2 million children are taken to a hospital after having an accident. Around half of these accidents happen at home, while over 9,000 are injured as car occupants in collisions.

Mothercare is supporting the Child Safety Week campaign, and is organising a host of activities in its stores, including the car seat safety demonstration in Stevenage. Parents are also invited to take advantage of special offers available on items from Mothercare’s unrivalled range of safety products for both car and home.
