Rt Hon Stephen McPartland MP
Working hard for you
in Stevenage, Knebworth, Codicote, Datchworth and Aston

Among the pledges Stephen made were meeting with families in the area who are living with muscle disease and backing them in their campaigns to secure more healthcare investment from the NHS, and also meeting with local members of the youth disability campaigning arm, Trailblazers.

Muscular Dystrophy Campaign’s head of policy and campaigns Nic Bungay said: “We are very grateful for Stephen’s support in our fight for better muscle disease services in the East of England. It will lend real weight to our campaign and means a lot to constituent families living with muscle disease.”

The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is the leading UK charity focusing on muscle disease. It has pioneered the search for treatments and cures for over 50 years, and is dedicated to improving the lives of all children and adults affected by muscle disease.  It funds world-class research to find effective treatments and cures; provides free practical and emotional support; campaigns to raise awareness and bring about change and awards grants towards the cost of specialist equipment, such as powered wheelchairs.
