Stephen McPartland MP
Working hard for you
in Stevenage, Knebworth, Codicote, Datchworth and Aston

Local MP Stephen McPartland visited the pottery at Springfield House, the home of Stevenage Arts Society, and ably instructed by experienced potter Vivienne Western made a pottery bowl.  This will be fired, and at a later date he will return to decorate it before its final firing.

Stephen said, "I enjoyed the chance to learn a little pottery and get hands on by making my own bowl. It was very kind of Vivienne to give me such patient tuition and the work of the Stevenage Arts Society is greatly valued by our local community."

Whilst there, Stephen visited the exhibition of paintings on display at the Denington Galleries, all painted by members of the Arts Society. He takes a keen interest in local clubs and societies which provide art and leisure facilities in the area.
