Stephen McPartland, MP for Stevenage, is the chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Asthma, a group of MPs and Peers who have a special interest in asthma issues and they are campaigning for the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to change the rules and allow schools to keep a spare inhaler as a last resort.

Headteacher of The Barclay School in Stevenage, Debbie Upton, said, "The well-being of our students is of utmost importance to us and anything that helps us to further improve our provision is to be welcomed".
