The refurbishment is as a result of the provider of the services at Elizabeth Court, Hertfordshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT), successfully securing £100k funding to make improvements as part of the ‘Enhancing the Healing Environment Programme’.

Responding on behalf of the HPFT, Jackie Newitt, Service Manager, Elizabeth & Victoria Court said: “I am delighted with the overall design. When we first considered this project we wanted to create the ‘wow’ factor and we definitely have. We have created a service for people with dementia that is ‘state of the art’. A big thank you must go to the clinical team for continuing to provide a great service during all of the building work and the service users and their families for bearing with us during this time.”
