Rt Hon Stephen McPartland MP
Working hard for you
in Stevenage, Knebworth, Codicote, Datchworth and Aston

Stephen McPartland MP for Stevenage has given his support to the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB)’s Save Our Sight campaign.

Stephen said, “I am pleased to support this campaign to improve early diagnosis for people who are at risk of losing their sight. Local people are able to have vital treatment at the Lister hospital which is already a centre of clinical excellence and benefiting from further investment which I have secured from the Government.”

Stephen added, “50% of sight loss is avoidable and I welcome the RNIB’s new eye health campaign “Save Our Sight” which highlights the importance of regular eye checks so we can get local people quick access to vital treatment and prevent unnecessary sight loss.”
