Hayley Sherwood from PYP added, “We are so grateful for this funding; we want to positively channel aggression using these high energy sport and creative art sessions. We would like all our young people to gain long term interest and skills so they will be less inclined to be involved in incidents in our neighbourhoods.”
The project offers activity sessions, such as mixed martial arts, football, street dance and graffiti art, to young people involved in anti-social behaviour and many have been referred to the project by Stevenage Police.
