The latest Garden House Hospice Care shop opened in Stevenage town centre just before Christmas is already proving to be useful and popular with local residents in search for furniture and other items for the home.
Stephen McPartland MP said, “Garden House Hospice Care provides vital end of life care to residents of Stevenage. It offers great support and care to patients, their families and carers and I was delighted to open this new shop to help raise funds for the Hospice before Christmas. It has proved to be a big hit with local people and the quality of goods is amazing as always with our Hospice shops.”
Garden House Hospice Care needs to raise over £3 million every year to be able to provide its free specialist palliative care for over 500 adults a year from the local community living with advanced cancer, motor neurone disease or other life limiting illness.
