Stephen McPartland, Member of Parliament for Stevenage, presented local firm Oracle Consultants with their ‘Love Apprenticeships’ certificate, to recognise the investment in talent the business is making through apprenticeships.
Stephen McPartland MP said, “Oracle already have one apprentice and are currently looking to recruit two more. Over 90 apprenticeships have been created since we launched the Love Apprenticeships campaign. This is great progress.
"I have always encouraged businesses to support apprenticeships and I continue to do so. I hope to see this number rise even higher in the next few weeks.”
Catherine Wood, Office Manager who leads on the apprenticeship programme, added, “I love working with apprentices because they really want it, they have a hunger to get on with the job. Apprenticeships are not just about giving young people a chance, but are a way for us to get the right people into our business.”
