Andrew Cottam, General Manager of the Drapers Arms showed Stevenage Member of Parliament Stephen McPartland behind the scenes of the significant £270,000 investment by Stonegate in the Old Town pub.

Stephen McPartland MP said, "It was fantastic to visit the Drapers Arms in Stevenage and meet some of the team. I was really impressed by the renovations and TV screens in each of the boothed seating areas, including the amazing Garden Huts. It was fun to test my skills and pull a pint with the landlord, I'm not sure it met the pub's usual standards though!"

As part of the visit, Stephen also learnt about Stonegate's apprenticeships, training and development schemes.
