Rt Hon Stephen McPartland MP
Working hard for you
in Stevenage, Knebworth, Codicote, Datchworth and Aston

The weather was beautiful for the launch of Knebworth Primary School newly redeveloped garden and environmental area.

Over the past few months a team of volunteers led by Alena Evans, a parent at the school, have been pruning, weeding, building and planting to transform a tired garden into an creative outdoor classroom. The Member of Parliament for Stevenage, Stephen McPartland, local district councillor Steve Hemingway, and other individuals connected to Knebworth School and the village were invited along to see the results of their work.

Stephen McPartland MP said, "This is an amazing initiative and huge thanks to all those parents, children and staff that have turned this vision into such a wonderful outside space. I was very proud to be given the honour of formally opening the garden and know it will be well used by the school."

Mrs Massey, Headteacher, said “Our pupils will benefit so much from this wonderful outdoor learning space.”
