Rt Hon Stephen McPartland MP
Working hard for you
in Stevenage, Knebworth, Codicote, Datchworth and Aston

For the second year running Stephen McPartland is leading a campaign to recruit more foster carers in the Stevenage and North Herts area. The foster and adoption care service is run by a specialist team within Hertfordshire County Council.

Stephen McPartland said, "Fostering is an amazing opportunity to change young lives by providing a loving family environment.  We had fantastic success with our campaign last year, and I am really proud to be leading the campaign again this year to recruit 70 new foster carers locally. As well as looking for new carers as some people retire, we are especially seeking more foster carers for teenagers and to keep brothers and sisters together within a family."

Foster carers need to have a spare bedroom available and can come from a variety of backgrounds, ages and professions.  The common theme is that they all want to make a difference and have a passion for helping children & young people thrive. Please consider helping.
