Stephen McPartland, Member of Parliament for Stevenage, is highlighting the funding and support available for community groups and local charities from the Affinity Water Community Engagement Programme.
Stephen McPartland MP said, "Community groups and local charities can now apply for funding and support for their projects from the Affinity Water Community Engagement Programme. Last year several organisations in Hertfordshire benefitted and the more groups in our area that apply, the more chance we have of attracting the support available. The closing date for this year is 31st March and focused on projects that will benefit the local community or environment, or make life better for those who are disadvantaged."
Emma Grigson, Chair of the Community Review Panel, said, “Affinity Water is a community-focused organisation serving local people and we want to be involved in projects which benefit the communities we serve. We want as many organisations as possible to have the chance to benefit from this programme and we encourage them to visit our website to apply for support.”
